So… I just got my PC back after only having had it repaired last month. Of course I’ve got insurance for my PC because I enjoy gaming and it’s inevitable that something is going to happen to it… Well, I’ve had this computer taken in for repair 5 times in the last 2 years. Each time it has been the hard drive, and of course why would this time be any different.
Anyway, don’t you hate it when a staff member says one thing and tells you that they’ll write notes on the system to have something done. Well this case is no different. I told the guy who was sending my computer off for repair that my computer had Windows 10 installed because I got it when they were giving it out for free. Last month when I got my PC back it came back with 8.1 installed and well I was hoping that I could install 10 without a problem which I did… but that’s not the point!
Today I got a call saying your computer is back from repair and to pick it up. So I picked up my PC, brought it home, plugged it in, and guess what? Not only did it not have Windows 10 installed, it had Windows 8 installed. So now I’m here after spending all day getting my computer set back up venting away and hoping my hard drive doesn’t just decide to die on me again. Which there really shouldn’t be any reason for it to die considering it is “new.”
